Shannon Orr has a spent a lifetime outdoors doing the things she loves best—riding horses, guiding river trips, hiking, backpacking and appreciating nature.  As an accomplished massage
therapist for nearly 15 years, Shannon understands well the function and vulnerability of athletic soft tissue and offers therapy to both horses and humans.

Shannon has trained and studied under Dino Fritterd CEMT, Dr. Heather Mack, DVM (www.balancedequinewellness.com) and Mindy Smith (Freedom Equine Training), has exponentially
expanded her understanding of how the body works and functions best over the last several years.

She has developed a variety of soft tissue and energy techniques that help heal and support your horse with a gentle touch, treating a wide range of issues including: athletic injuries; fascia
release; pregnancy massage; labor support; aroma therapy; energy and shaman work.  The burgeoning of her techniques has acted as a bridge between her human and equine practices.

As the proud owner of a young quarter horse named “Roanie,”  Shannon has had   ample opportunity to exercise her knowledge and loving touch on a regular basis on her own horse.

Prior to moving to the central coast, Shannon resided in the beautiful mountain town of Sun Valley, located in the central region of Idaho where she worked on humans and horses alike and
got a solid foundation in the physiology of both.

Her loyal following of clientele happily attest that Shannon provides “the best massage you’ve ever had” whether you’ve got two legs or four.  Call Shannon and she’ll help heal your horse of
whatever hurts.
