The Helping Hooves Equine Foundation is part of an integral approach being developed and promoted by Mindy Smith Equine
Services, LLC to create a sustainable environment for the Rocky Mountain Breed and all the deserving greatness that these horses
have come to represent.  The Rocky breed has been as loyal as any animal known to man and it is time for us to honor this loyalty and
preserve its integrity.  The mission of the foundation is to facilitate the rehabilitation or retirement of Rocky Mountain horses
experiencing deteriorating eyesight and in need of a helping hand.

The Helping Hooves Equine Foundation is being established as a not for profit Foundation by a group of dedicated equine
enthusiasts to help Rocky Mountain horses with deteriorating eyesight become a source of strength and harmony for many women
and youth in our community.  This will be a place of rest, care, compassion and longevity for both horse and humans alike.   We
believe there is a marvelous synergy to be found in combining the gentle and kind disposition of the Rocky Mountain Horse with
women and youth that have had their self confidence damaged by circumstances out of their influence.  The trust, encouragement
and happiness that can blossom from the hands on relationship between a horse and a human searching for such peace will have life
long positive effects on horses, humans and our community.  We will offer an environment that is safe, private, harmonious and
encouraging in which these new partners will become entrusted friends.

The Trail Club is committed to enhancing the lifestyle of both horse and rider through training, educational clinics, equine wellness
programs and plenty of time in the saddle. The purpose of the Freedom Riders Trail Club is to develop a nucleus that can provide the
resources and geography to facilitate these services and riding trails in an environment that is both social and professional.   The trail
courses are being designed with varying degrees of difficulty and will include unique and exciting natural and man made obstacles.
Detailed course maps and a matching picture database will be available for reference and accessible by members on this website.  The first
phase of the trail courses is being developed on a 105 acres of prime mountain geography. The Freedom Riders Trail Club will be offering
two types of memberships to qualified individuals and will be available as either “Day Use” or “Extended Stay” memberships.
